Is DemoStudio really free?

Yep, completely free. Record, edit, and export as much as you want. No watermarks, no hidden limits.

Where do my projects get saved?

Everything stays on your device. We use your browser's local storage, so your recordings never leave your computer. Plus, your work auto-saves every second while you edit.

Which browsers work best?

Chrome, Edge, and other Chromium-based browsers work great. You'll need a browser that supports screen recording APIs.

What can I export?

MP4 files from 480p all the way up to 4K. Higher resolutions take longer to render and depend on your computer's processing power, so pick what works best for your needs.

What can I actually edit?

Quite a lot! Add zoom effects with custom easing, trim out mistakes, speed things up or slow them down, pick from different aspect ratios, customize backgrounds and gradients, add textures and film grain, adjust shadows and borders. Basically everything you need to make your recordings look great.

How do the zoom effects work?

Add zoom keyframes anywhere on your timeline. Set the scale, position, and pick from different easing curves to control how smooth the transition feels. You have full control over each zoom.

Any recording limits?

Nope. Record for as long as you need. The only limit is how much space you have on your device.
