FAQ
Everything you need to know about DemoStudio
Do I need to create an account?
No! DemoStudio works completely in your browser without requiring an account. All your recordings and projects are stored locally on your device.
Is my data safe?
Yes! Since everything runs in your browser and is stored locally, your recordings never leave your device unless you explicitly export and share them.
What browsers are supported?
DemoStudio works best on modern browsers that support the Screen Capture API, including Chrome, Edge, and other Chromium-based browsers.
Can I edit existing videos?
Currently, DemoStudio is designed for recording and editing your own screen recordings. Support for importing external videos may be added in the future.
What video formats are supported?
Recordings are saved in WebM format and can be exported as MP4 files.
How does automatic zoom work?
DemoStudio tracks your cursor movements during recording and automatically generates smooth zoom effects based on cursor activity and movement patterns.
Can I customize the zoom effects?
Yes! You can manually add, edit, and remove zoom keyframes in the editor for complete control over your zoom effects.
Is there a file size limit?
The main limitation is your device's available storage. Browser storage limits vary but typically allow for several GB of data.
